Start with ten, then try six smaller places
A ten-country starter round, followed by an optional small-country challenge with a separate word bank.

Canada, United States, Brazil, France, Italy, Egypt, Kenya, India, Japan and Australia make up the starter set. Use the capital and region clues to match each name once.
Beginner describes this small, supported practice set. It is not a measured claim that everyone finds these countries easy. Use an atlas when you need one.
The optional small-country challenge
The second set contains Malta, Singapore, Bahrain, Maldives, Barbados and Seychelles. It is a deliberately selected set, not a ranking of the world's smallest countries.
Small shapes can be harder to select on a world map. Zoom in or use the text choices. The printed activity uses capitals and regions as clues, so it does not test tiny tap targets.
What the broader quiz covers
These two sets contain 16 countries in total. The full countries quiz uses 250 catalog entries, including territories and separately coded geographic entities; that is not a claim that there are 250 sovereign states.
Region names follow the app catalog. The answer key repeats the exact names accepted by these worksheets.
